Are Your Motorcycle Accessories Weighing You Down?

My name is Molly, and I love motor sports. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in getting amazing accessories for our bikes that we forget what we are doing to their performances! I will go over popular accessories, describe the benefits of each and let you know how those purchases could weigh down your bike. This is especially a problem if you use your bike for racing or go off road. You can accessorize your bike with useful products while maintaining a fabulous look, but it takes some planning. I'll help you decide what you need and help show you where to get it.

3 Reasons To Take A Motorcycle Tour Instead Of Bringing Your Own Motorcycle On Vacation

Many bikers don't like the idea of leaving their motorcycles behind when they go on vacation. After all, you might really love riding your motorcycle, and it might be hard to think about having a fun vacation without it. You don't have to sacrifice riding a motorcycle while on your vacation or bring your own motorcycle along, though. Instead, you can go on a motorcycle tour and ride a different motorcycle. This is actually better than bringing your own.

1. Save Money on Your Vacation

It might seem silly to pay to ride someone else's motorcycle when you have one of your own. However, depending on how you're getting to your destination, bringing your motorcycle along might be cost-prohibitive, such as if you are going to be flying into your vacation destination and would have to ship your motorcycle in order to bring it along with you. Since motorcycle tours are often quite reasonably priced, they're often cheaper than what you'd pay to bring your own motorcycle along.

2. Keep Your Own Motorcycle Safe

One thing that would probably really ruin your vacation is messing up your motorcycle while you're there. You won't be able to keep it secure like you might be able to do at home, though, so there's always the risk of it being stolen or vandalized. It could even be damaged while being transported to your vacation destination. You don't want to deal with damage to your motorcycle or have your vacation ruined by something like this, so leave it at home and take a motorcycle tour with someone else's motorcycle instead. Then, you'll know that your own bike is safe.

3. Try Something New

One of the best things about going on a vacation is the fact that it allows you to try new things. Along with experiencing new places and new foods, you can even try a new motorcycle if you go on a motorcycle tour instead of bringing your own bike with you. If you're a motorcycle enthusiast, you might just like the opportunity of being able to try a bike that might be of a different make, model and style from your own. Plus, when you get the fever to buy another bike, you can use the experience that you had while on your motorcycle tour to help guide you in choosing your next motorcycle, since you'll already have experience with riding at least one other type of bike.
